In the blog of Marguerite Makes It, I saw a while ago a lot of fun sterrenquiltje! It turned out to be called Stella, holzregal the Star Quilt. holzregal A very nice quilt package holzregal It seemed fun to do, especially since it is made of all reproduction fabrics, and I'm as crazy lately. The package came just a day before we went on holiday to ... So what do you do: you look at it quickly, and put it in the trunk!
Unfortunately, the holiday was not quite go as planned ... after a few days because holzregal I got pneumonia, and first aid in Greece is not so good (although it was quite an adventure, in hindsight!). It was nice that we got to go home with the X-ray! Anyway, after waiting five hours I did not even get drugs with it, so it was all for nothing. The rest of the vacation I really easy to do, and I therefore can hardly quilting, alas! But it is I managed to tinker. Above 6 stars in each I especially liked the color combinations very interesting, I've learned a lot! Really everything fits together and the result is then also great! Back in the Netherlands, I have the rest finished. It was still quite a lot of work for such a small quilt!
Especially the edge I found very difficult to make because everything had to close exactly alike and I've holzregal never done such a thing. It almost worked, I only saw later (after I had doubled) that left just is not quite right at the top. Well, I'm going to pull out ...
And of course there was a label on ... since the whole quilt reproduction fabric in a pattern is created, I also have a stitchery sought from that time. If it is good, this motif is from a magazine holzregal in 1826. I have an italic serif font with it figured out, because I was against that magazine.
Only the name is quite modern ... Estel was invented by JRR Tolkien, and the youth's name Aragorn, what "hope" means. I liked it because it looks like "Stella", the name of the quilt, and the meaning I find also fit well. I had drawn a perfect rectangle and the edges folded holzregal inward, but unfortunately there is somewhere in between what gone wrong which the label is now quite skewed. Maybe I should still but just lash out and make new ...
Oops, here's the label just bigger than the real thing! It was very difficult to stitching the tiny letters, but this time it has gone better than the lentequiltje grandma. Only the "e" and "2" are a bit distorted. What is the fabric back too cute, huh? It comes from the same series as the dust on the front, Judy's 25th anniversary Marcus Fabrics.
Last night I started quilting! I am very curious how it will be, as my quilting experience is also quite modest. But I think it's fantastic quilt itself succeeded, though I say it myself. Meanwhile I must get back to Sublime Seasons, I'm still working on the sashings (now finished 6 of 9). And yes, when I was looking at the package of Stella, I also came to the site of the Star Quilt BOM Hampton Ridge at weeks ... I really doubted whether I would do it, especially because it is a very large project is, and I do not know if I have the level, and also have here. many other things But I'm going to do it anyway! He is 2,20 x2, 20m, so really quite a project holzregal ... But I am really looking forward to it!
Ohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh holzregal so you're ready before me!!! What a fun block to make hey! And with the edge I also fought. Thought at first that I had way too much dust. But suddenly it came quite well. You're going to do with the bomb. Super. 've Also been very often looked at the picture. Such beautiful colors. But then you can not do everything. Though I am now terribly jealous that you still use it to start. Hahahah holzregal .. Balen say you got sick during the holidays. And not just a little bit sick very sick. My mother in law is sometime cases in Greece and then had to walk on crutches. She's still on. They're holzregal so sweet and will do anything for you. Hope they have also been a bit. Kind to you Good luck with quilting and ohhh I have to finish it soon. The stack needs to be more done is getting higher and higher. Greetings Marguerite Reply Delete holzregal
Hahahaha, yeah, maybe! I now walk a bit stuck in the quilting, I doubt between start again or continue anyway ... (see next blog post I'm writing right now: P). But that edge was indeed really bad! I have my mathematician father holzregal called in, and all said things that I did not understand, but in the end I did what he said, and it's been good: D Hehe, I really weeks to run the plate and stare ... the fabrics googled, and

Well, the concept was very different, because GoldenEye was if you ask me much more of a traditional Bond. There was at that time or a new actor for Bond, but the story went largely due to the normal Federal lines, though in that story 006 the villain. In that movie bad guys wanted to destroy the world, with all the usual scenarios that, while this film is much more sober. So no exploding control rooms and no incredible action scenes.
Well, this is only my second time! And do not forget that there is a gap of eight years was between GoldenEye and Licence to Kill, Tim Dalton. Pierce Brosnan was perfect for that role. And secondly languished the people at that time really to Bond. At the time of that hole, there were legal problems, so that there is no bonds could be made. It had been so long time and everyone liked Pierce amazing, and I think the audience really looked into the next Bond out.
Yes, we had to decide unanimously who was Bond, Barbara Broccoli, Michael adeg Wilson, all of us. I mean, we've seen a lot of people. There was endless adeg speculation, but we had to look at everyone and we have lots of people to audition. There have also been called other names but in the end we took back anyway Daniel. We just knew he was the right man for this movie.
Well, for starters, it is obviously a very good actor. And another reason was that he fit into the concept that we had and he also fit much better with the book and the more realistic approach than all the others. Casino Royale is a very interesting book. It was Ian Fleming's first book, written in 1953, and is set in the Cold War. It's about the Smersh, Flemings version of the KGB. It is a very realistic book. There are no extravagant situations or scenes for Bond and is just a man of flesh and blood, not women adorning spymaster in tuxedo that we got to see in the movies.
No it is not. He has just received his first assignment in his capacity as 007 and is not quite dry behind the ears. So he has to kill someone, just is not that just like that, and all that blood brings him a lot of his piece. Also interesting in the book: he drinks adeg too much and he smokes about seventy cigarettes a day! (Laughs)
Yes we can. But he's so vulnerable and he has a dark side. He notices all very heavy. He is also a huge misogynist, and the book explains why. It is very well described why he hates relationships. He talks about the steps you take, and you've got there after a bad taste in your mouth. All very recognizable. And of course, Fleming was going to marry a woman he did not want to marry at that time so it was all in the book correctly. adeg
Well, it had to be because the first half of the book is based entirely adeg on the Cold War. In the book Le Chiffre adeg is a Communist courier, a ringleader of the KGB in southern France that gets to channel money to the unions in order to disrupt the event of a Russian invasion. Industry Only he puts some of this money in a brothel, and three months later, the revised law on prostitution and he has not a penny more on the money from the KGB. Therefore, he starts with that game baccarat, poker in the film we use, in order to win the money back. So to that extent adeg we follow the book.
In the film Le Chiffre is a banker to international terrorists, who launders money from various adeg terrorist organizations, which invests money and later the terrorists give the money when they need it. Of course, governments are trying to address these practices. Harshly There is even an organization in Paris that does not do otherwise. But Le Chiffre uses the money from a particular terrorist organization to speculate on the stock market and of course he loses that money and he has to see it to get back. This is a variation adeg on the book. Obviously Bond on his trail.
Well, Layer Cake has a certain adeg charm, even though it was about drugs. In that film, he is very charming. And normally you associate it with something heavier roles, such as Enduring Love, The Mother and Sylvia, and I found myself Munich is one of the best things he did, though he barely text. He splashed into the role of the cloth, you just have to look at it, whether you like it or not. And as I said, this Bond had a dark side, and Daniel can convey good, a bit like
