OUT OF THE CLOSET AS I'M | Reflections of a glamorous archaeologist
In 1993 there was no standard on all television where there appeared a gay character; the big pop stars and divas of the 80's were missing from the map by the emergence of a new style of music absolutely alti-glam (grunge); there was no explicit mention of or reference gay or lesbian and the only appearance of the subject in the media was to relate it to the numerous deaths that year was leaving HIV / AIDS on its way, or for making homophobic jokes.
These social conditions it was impossible for a kid of 12 years who lived in a working class neighborhood on the outskirts fol of Barcelona, who had never met anyone more out of the closet, fol he could accept his sexuality and so happily notify all environment.
