A nightmare in my closet, Mercer Mayer | didacticadelallenguailaliteratura
To view and analyze different picture books went to Villa Anita Street Vic, 14 in Barcelona. A library is a specialized, small but cozy, where you can find books for children and youth of all kinds. After being read some picture books, see the illustrations and features caught my attention one entitled "A nightmare in my closet," this is about what I will make the recommendation.
The illustrations that shows this album are very expressive. With Mercer Mayer let us see almost entirely what we were telling the story. These illustrations show all the characters, which would highlight the way that has drawn the "nightmare" this is how we want to get Mayer looks like this small child nightmares.
This is a book that deals with the subject of children's fears through his protagonist, newslaundry a child very restless. Tells the story of this child and how the child decides, after many night, decides to deal with their nightmares, their fears. One night he discovers his nightmare, while also discovers that his nightmare has also. In the end the boy voice that was not so difficult to face these fears and if I had done before would have slept for many nights quieter.
During the story you will find touches of humor, such as when the child decides to go to bed with a toy gun to end what is in the closet. I picked this album illustrated why I think it is very suitable for children, so they can feel identified newslaundry because the nightmares are a concept that children can be a very unknown and this book helps to explain the story of a boy who could be them.
