Rocktoberfest, Cantinetta Antinori Pop-Up, and More - Eater NY
1) Rocktoberfest When: Sunday, 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Where: The Richardson professional organizer What: The Richardson and Brooklyn Brewery are teaming up to put an American spin on Oktoberfest with tomorrow's Rocktoberfest . All Brooklyn Brewery beer will be $5 and will come with a free bratwurst from the Meat Hook (while supplies last). Brooklyn Brewery's Al Duvall will play some banjo punk rock and there will be a special bourbon barrel ghost bottle tasting as well.
3) Cantinetta Antinori Pop-Up When: Today, 7 p.m. and 9:30 p.m. Where: Mondrian SoHo What: Tonight is the final night of the Cantinetta Antinori pop-up restaurant's four day run in the Mondrian SoHo. The four-course menu features the flavors of Italy's Cantinetta Antinori professional organizer with dishes like Tuscan tomato soup, prawns with artichokes, and a chestnut-flour cake with ricotta cheese. There will also be wine pairings featuring wines from the Antinori family's estate. The dinner costs $165 per person, which includes the wine. Reserve a table online or by calling (212) 389-0000.
3) Brooklyn Pour When: Today, 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. Where: Skylight professional organizer One Hanson What: The Village Voice will host the second annual Brooklyn Pour craft beer tasting event in Fort Greene. There will be over 100 craft brews from Brooklyn and beyond professional organizer to sample, including beers from Brooklyn Brewery, 508, and Blue Point Brewery. Tickets for both sessions are $45 and include beer samplings, a complimentary souvenir tasting glass, and access to talks and demos from beer experts like Sixpoint Brewery, professional organizer Jimmy Carbone of Jimmy's No. 43, and Brooklyn Brew Shop. Food will be available for purchase.
4) Foraging Tour and Dinner When: Sunday, 12 p.m. Where: Prospect Park and The Farm on Adderley What: Join botanist and author Leda Meredith on a foraging tour through Prospect Park . She will educate guests about the edible weeds and mushrooms growing in the park. A dinner inspired by the day's finds will be served at 8 p.m. at The Farm on Adderley. 5) Indonesian Food Bazaar When: Sunday, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Where: Masjid Al-Hikmah What: If it's authentic home-cooked Indonesian food you're craving, head over to the Al-Hikmah Mosque in Astoria. Tomorrow, the parking lot will be transformed professional organizer into a food bazaar with locals serving up classic professional organizer Indonesian dishes like gado gado, noodles in beef broth, and meat skewers. Admission is free, just pay as you go.
